Matthew Miniotas – Associate Director
Matthew is an Australian Quantity surveyor with a wide and varied skill-set built around providing professional Quantity surveying services, Contract Advice and Contract Management services to both Contractors and Principal organizations. His career has afforded him exposure to a wide spectrum of commercial consultancy services including recent international experience working on major projects in Qatar.
Matthew is currently working towards his AIQS accreditation and RICS chartership and undertaking a Masters in Construction Contract Law and Dispute Resolution with the objective of achieving accreditation with CiARB and expanding his skillset into formal methods dispute resolution.
Matthew has been involved in the construction industry since his first job as a builder’s laborer at 10 years of age. Since then Matthew has always remained in the industry via a range of laboring roles until he began his career as a Quantity Surveyor and undertook his tertiary qualifications. This ground level involvement paired with time as a tutor at the University of Canberra for the Construction Management Bachelor’s Degree, has afforded Matthew a down to earth demeanor with a well-rounded, hands-on and practical mindset that compliments his qualifications, professional experience and meticulous skillset.
In his spare time Matthew is usually tinkering with his 1978 Suzuki GS750 Motorcycle, camping and bushwalking wherever he can or enjoying the QLD beaches.
