Askari Nourian – Senior Consultant
Askari is a chartered Quantity Surveyor (MRICS) / Contract Administrator with more than 15 years’ professional experience in major international building and infrastructure projects in both consulting and contractor companies in Europe, South America, Asia, and now Australia.
Askari is experienced and proficient in constructional estimation, cost calculation, financial analysis, preparing cash flow, pre-tender and contract negotiations, preparing tender and contracts documents, working with FIDIC and other international general conditions of contracts, preparing and control invoices and bills of quantities (BOQ) of projects and subcontractors, preparing claim documents and verifying contractors’ claims and variation submissions, etc.
He has worked in projects containing construction and renovation of different types of buildings and infrastructures such as tunnels, roads and railroads, bridges, concrete and steel structures, piling, water pipelines, power plants, industrial buildings, mechanical and electrical infrastructure, etc.
Askari has used four different languages in his work environments (English, Danish, Spanish and Persian).
Despite Askari’s satisfaction with his job in a word-class company in Copenhagen, Denmark, due to his family unification issue, he moved to Sydney in May 2018. Travelling, socializing, football, cycling and studying history are the most important activities that Askari does in his spare time.
